We stopped in just to check the park out for future reference. The staff were friendly and helpful. The park has an older "park" side with large trees, gravel back in spots and a new side with concrete angled pads. The sites are larger than most we've seen in Florida. The pool was heated. My toes felt no shock when I stuck them in to check. The whole park was clean, well kept and had a nice feel.

Inquired about long term reservations for myself, my wife, and my 1 year old. They don't list anywhere on their website that they're a 55+ community, yet they do what they can to push customers with children away. Not family friendly. I just took the time to read the negative reviews here, many of them recent, and they seem to reaffirm that this is not a place you'd want to bring any children, or yourselves for that matter. If I had to make a suggestion to management to improve their business, perhaps you should make it more clear that potential customers with families are not welcome in addition to your ludicrous rules regarding RV age. Also, for future reference, your website says " Long term reservations for four (4) months or longer are for two (2) guests, visiting guests will be charged $5 per person, per day.". Diane told me that stays over 2 months are for two people only. If this is true, I recommend updating your website to reflect that. Million dollar 11 year Prevost? You're not welcome. IT professional with a 2 year old trailer and a baby? Look elsewhere.

We love making this our winter home.The Staff is friendly and helpful..The RV Resort is kept exceptionaly Clean and updated. We have met many new friends here. It is also located conveniently to shopping...attractions...hospitals.. restaurants ... Highly recommend

Have seen quite a few negative reviews but based on positive stays several years ago decided to call for a reservation, called for reservation information and the person who answered the phone must have a hearing issue, I had to repeat myself numerous times. It was almost like talking to an older person in a care facility, had to keep speaking up and repeating myself. Although after some time it was finally said there wasn't a available site for the dates I requested, I thought being on the phone that long just to find out they are booked I asked for the possibility of another set of dates for an extended stay I am planning and again over and over answering the same questions like the person on the other end was either too busy paying attention to something else or just not that bright or senile. I guess I won't be staying at Bay Bayou. It is really that difficult to get good help????????

Beautiful setting! Awesome place for your RV. I would call it a favorite after visiting one day with our grand boys. It was very difficult to get them to leave. However, if you have an older RV you won't get in here, as we do. Though our RV is a beauty she is a 96 and this park won't allow any past the 2000 year. This park is quiet and ohhh so nice. Not that large but I have to recommend it. You won't be disappointed!
