I went to this school for 4 years of my life. I now go to a private school. This school is very unorganized. I remember that I would often turn in homework, and later my teacher would say, "I don't have your homework.". Don't get me wrong, the teachers are great and kind, but often mixed up. I have a lot of great memories, for this was the first school I ever attended. I am now in middle school. The kids there were kind. Most of them. Others were mean and bullies. And I often felt very alone, like i didn't have any friends. My sister also attended this school, but was in a totally separate classroom. Also, after school care was HORRIBLE. I can't eat pork or beef, so my mom would tell them that. (They serve snacks during after school care.). Then, they would give me a sandwich that had beef, and told me it was chicken, when it wasn't. That HAS to be illegal or something, right? This school might be a fit for some, but I am happy to have graduated from Beacon. Both my parents and I were getting irritated of the staff, constantly,

My family and I decided to give this school a second chance And I must say I'm quite regretful. My child was released to someone who was NOT on his contact list and I was not notified. The teachers he's Had have been great but The staff (office and outside aids) are VERY rude and insensitive . The policy is 4 tardies equal an absence but the school calls you if your child so much as has one sneeze to tell you they're sick and need to be sent home. I just feel like the school is very unorganized ; it's sad I can receive a call immediately to tell me my child has coughed twice but can't get a call to confirm who's on his contact list or kindness from staff in the office when I'm called in about A situation pertaining to my Child. We WONT be attending next year If things don't change And since this makes year Two I'm sure they won't
