The last time I went, they handed me a receipt and it had a $5 charge for thick hair on it. I've never had a charge like that anywhere else. I went again for my last haircut (because I had forgotten about the extra charge) and the new stylist informed me there would be a $10 charge for LONG hair?! My hair is just a little past my shoulders. I asked why since they have to cut hair no matter what the length is. She said because of drying time. I asked how much if I don't get it dried? (My normal place gives a cheaper option for no blow dry). She said, "Same." Then she didn't say a single word to me the entire time she cut and dried my hair. Most awkward hair cut ever. Then she  gave me a mirror. I had asked for long layers and even showed a picture at the beginning. There were none so I asked about it. She said, oh I just don't ever do that because i don't want to make customers mad. Do you want me to? Just a really weird and awkward experience. Beauty Brands Salon is definitely overpriced and sneaky for charging more for "long hair."

I went in to get my roots touched up by Carla. I ask for a partial and for the roots to match the rest of my hair which it very blonde... It turned out 4 thin little highlights which it look as if I didn't even get my hair done in the first place. I called they said so the scheduled a redo. At the redo Carla kept mention all the things wrong in how I asked her things which I had made myself clean the very first time so I thought... Same thing I've asked for for years... And in the end she still failed to cover the blonde how I asked AND did even do the full partial just the top and some of the side.... When I asked to see the back she covered the top hair to hide the brown and when I started parting my hair too look she move the mirror quickly and tried to change the subject as if I was stupid and didn't notice in the first place... By far the worst hair experience I've had...

Just called to inquire about a product.  The person who answered the phone wS helpful, upbeat, patient and kind.  That is rare and thank you.
