Great little place for kids. Well worth the drive. Lots of hands on interaction with the animals. There is even a bunny cage you can get in and pet the bunnies. The bird exhibit was my favourite. Birds will fly into your hand to eat. Lots of room for toddlers to run around and burn energy. Also a nice shop to have lunch or a snack.

Its like a huge petting zoo. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the animals to the gift shop. It cost $9 a person to enter and an additional $5 dollars for food to feed the animals. In total we spent $41 bucks for a family of 4 and it was worth every penny. We stayed for about 3 1/2 hours and the kids never got bored. Well worth the 40 minute trip from Goose Creek.

I have no idea why this place is called bee city. I didn't see be hives the whole time I was there. As a local zoo, however, this place was phenomenal. This place is very hands on with the animals, so bring plenty of hand sanitizer. There is food on site, but I would equate it to bowling alley fare. If that's not your speed, many people bring their own and easy lunch in a picnic area.

This place is great! Tons of animals who look well taken care of. Nice place to stop if you're driving past on a long trip. It's a bit "off the beaten path".

Love this place. Go every summer at least once and gets better every year. They've been expanding and the teen kids still love it.
