I love this restaurant! It's a cute place in an old house, so it's not huge. One of the rooms has a tree in the middle of it, which is fun for kids and adults. The food is always good. My husband swears by the Louisiana skillet, and I love the stuffed French toast. It can get very busy on the weekends, so we call ahead and I've never had more than a 15 min wait. This is our go to breakfast place!

It has been a couple months since getting food here for carryout . It was great before this time it was very disappointing. The scrambled eggs tasted like mass produced boil in a bag eggs (I have worked in a kitchen before and know the difference not saying that is what was used but tasted like it) the bacon was a little under cooked and the pancakes just did not taste even close as to what they used to and were dried out. Not happy. Food was warm the fruit was fresh. But very disappointed.  Did they change cooks or recipes? Because the quality has definitely changed.

I'm done with this place. It has plenty of charm with a tree growing up through the dining room and nearly overdone homey decor. But the service is a big risk b/c the last few visits it's been terrible. And although the menu is imaginative and not at all Dennys-like, not everything is good, thoughtful or fresh. 

If you want a $35 breakfast for two there are better choices

Wonderful breakfast restaurant tucked away in East Dundee by the old Haegar Pottery building. Amazing atmosphere since it's in an old home with a tree growing through the middle! The food was very good, everything came out right, and the winter specials are great as well.

This place is absolutely amazing!! The food is fantastic, the prices are reasonable, and the service is fast and friendly. Definitely the best breakfast place we've been to. The place is also very homey, we love counting all the chickens!
