A museum and park on the former homestead of Benjamin Banneker. This FB page is maintained by volunteers supporting the BBHPM.
Visit the former homestead of the remarkable Colonial historical figure Benjamin Banneker! In addition to our exhibits (both permanent and changing), we offer a wide selection of films and videos for viewing (see list below). Arrangements can be made to have a storyteller entertain your group with portrayals of the lives of Benjamin Banneker, Mary Bannaky and Molly Bannaky. Reserve a tour for your students today to learn about:
-Benjamin Banneker's extraordinary life
-African-American history in Maryland
-What life was like in the 18th Century
-Nature and Environmental Conservation
