Came here with a dude but did not go into rental office with him. Room was fairly clean but bed sheets had a big brown stain the size of a silver dollar ...Just gross .....they do have an hourly rate. Decor is dark ...90s looking This building was an old Howard Johnson's way back when and has changed names many times scince during the Crack cocaine epidemic this was a place to bring cheap prostitutes ..... still is. The only motel in the area pretty much. Not as Sleazy since Red Roof took over but still people come here primarily for sexual encounters. It seems safe but I would not call it a family place base on my knowledge of the area and the people.

Rooms aren't particularly clean, nor up-to-date. Always missing something, or something isn't working right. BUT--- The owners/staff are very kind, and are genuinely interested in making you happy. They need to work on security....this DEFINITELY is an issue here. )

We arrived at the hotel to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. At check in we got charged twice. The attendant used my reservation to charge me and then had me swipe my card. One went through of course second did not. We were on a tight budget. He voided both and said declined. My account and the bank which I called told him it went through. Three hours of phone tag and miss opportunities' to see Baltimore, he finally realizes that yes it went through. His company is refunding me the money so I can stay until money is in my account. Nice but the three hours lost??? At the end of the stay I asked for a discount hoping at least one day of the four we stayed. None until next time. Really they cause undo issues and not one little token of we are sorry. Rooms were ok for there purpose of sleep and tour Baltimore. Would have been 4 or 5 stars but that initial experience and the lack of accountability is what brought it down. We use red roofs a lot calling main office about incident.

I have read review for this hotel and was not satisfied. However, after checked in a non smoking king room my perception had changed therefore I thought to write a review for this hotel, the hotel is in city area and convenient to go to downtown and other area as well. Rooms are very spacious clean. Front desk staff are very friendly and caring. Thank you, you all. I will definitely choose for my next stay.

When I get a room here my experience is great. The staff is very knowledgeable friendly and helpful. The room was clean everything worked in the room. Any issues that I have in the room if there's no one available to resolve the issue they give me another room. My all around experience thus far has been great!! Keep up the good work.
