The Benton County Historical Society was started in 1969 by a group of civic minded people to preserve the history of our county.
The Benton County Museum is managed by a Board of Directors that is elected by the general membership. Annual meetings are held in November each year. Membership meetings are held every other month (odd months) at the Boonslick Regional Library in Warsaw, MO. The second Thursday of the Month at 6:30. We have programs of general interest at the meetings.
Board meetings are held on the Second Thursday of even months at the Benton County Museum at 4:00.
