40$ to take a class on using 3d printers with my son, awesome. 5 minutes of looking at a 3d printer and an hour and 55 minutes on building egg drop contraptions, I could have done at home and included my younger kids. Next month's class is dissecting a heart. They are probably going to show a picture of a heart and then have people draw their feelings. Don't get me wrong the center and it's normal exhibits are great (even if the tesla coil is always down). The classes they offer are just not worth it.

Excellent place and a pleasant surprise. My family and I visited on a humble and this place will be added to our regular rotation when visiting Missouri. There are so many interactive exhibits geared to entertain and teach toddlers to elderly visitors. I learned a few things and met some great staff and fellow visitors.

A great place to take grandkids, especially on a cold winter day off school. My grandsons had a great time exploring and checking out the exhibits. Love this place.

My children (5 and 8) love this place. We've been a handful of times. The exhibits are informative and eye-catching. I think it is fantastic that the Discovery Center reaches out to the community and attends local events too. Last year, my children and I went to the BOOgie Bash presented by the Republic Park board. The Discovery Center had several displays about forensic science and activities for the kids to do. The workers were so good with the kids and showed such joy in explaining all the ins and outs of the science they were practicing. They even gave out a voucher for a free ride on the high-wire bicycle for the next time we visited. This is such a neat place for both kids and adults!

My son and I visited the Discovery Center a while back. We had so much fun, his favorite part was the virtual reality simulator!! There is so much to see and do. We will definitely be going back.
