Excellent, fresh and delicious fish. Hand rolls aren’t flavorful. Sushi starters are incredible. Beautiful space.

Loooved everything we had! Sashimi, blue crab rolls, lobster, seaweed salad.. all so tasty!  The Macha beer is a must have, especially since it's a rare find. The server was a gem,, very informative and took great care of us- wish I had caught his name. Definitely check out this fun spot in Berkeley.

It's definitely different than a regular sushi restaurant, but definitely not something to be missed. Super fresh and super friendly. I'll definitely be retuern

Went there for a friend’s 40th.  The sushi was very fresh and well priced.  All the servers were so nice and happily dealt with our annoying party of 9.   So happy this is in the neighborhood!

Got to meet the owner and had an amazing meal with my wife! Highly recommend and consider calling ahead to make sure there is room. Pass on the miso soup, but everything is worth ordering

Delicious food and super nice staff! Lunch was awesome and the fish quality was excellent. This restaurant has a ton of sake and Japanese craft beers I’m going to return to try.

You can tell they're still getting their feet under them but overall everything worked out. Service was good and nice. The fish though just amazing. Probably the best yellow tail I've ever had.  Loved it.  Very long list of Japanese beers.

Really good sushi here. I've never eaten it this way, but it was a great experience. The sushi was fresh, the miso soup was spiced well but not overbearing, and the staff was friendly and happy to explain their process to me.  Recommended.
