I'm a proud patron of Berkshire Bike and Board, I'll never go anywhere else for anything bike related. I bought my last 2 bikes from them as well as my wife's bike, all great deals from a great selection of bikes as well as unparalleled customer service. Hands down the freindliest and most helpful staff I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with in my life. My bike is there now being fixed and upgraded after I trashed it at thunder mountain, and I know when I get it back it'll be better than new because that's the kind of service and quality I know I can expect every time I go. If you need a new bike, some work done on your current bike, or just some helpful and friendly advice, this is definitely the place to go.

I have purchased bikes from Berkshire Bike and Board over many years, as my enthusiasm for cycling grew.  I have always received excellent advice from the store's friendly, knowledgeable staff. The mechanics and sales staff are all excellent. The bike fit process is done very carefully, taking account of each client's cycling experience, flexibility, objectives, and any special health issues. The store runs weekly rides for cyclists at all levels. This is a great bike store.

I won't go anywhere else. I make the drive up to the Berkshires just a few times a year and after buying my bike at Berkshire Bike & Board, I will never go anywhere else. Went in with my bike for a tune up and heard it would be a long wait, high demand for an incredible staff. I wanted to hit the trails THAT day so one of the employees, a TEEN, did some quick adjustments and a lube in 5 minutes so I could ride. Awesome stuff! Great people!

Absolutely a great place.
Knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Tammy, Chris and Stephan were all great to deal with as well as the other staff of whom I forgot their names(sorry).

Being from Brooklyn I have a quite a few shops to go to but few of them offer test rides, so I made my way to the Berkshires.

I called them up to see if they had a Giant Defy composite in my size. They didn't but built one up for me to test out.
I ended up riding 4 different bikes as per their suggestions, and rented one for an extended trial.
When I returned and asked if they had the new 2013 models in they said they didn't but would get back to me.
Within 2 hours they called back and said that they located one and would have it ready for me when I returned.
I'm happily riding around on my new Felt Z5 and will be shopping there for my biking needs.

I can't say enough good things about them.
