We have been a customer of Best Buy for many years. In as Amazon has gained in popularity we have generally stuck with Best Buy due to the convenience of being able to touch and see a product before ordering. No more. Unfortunately, their customer services has gone out the window. We recently purchased and out-of-the-box gas stove top from the Columbus - Polaris location. The unit was discounted as expected but we were assured that it would have the same warranty, parts and customer service as an in-box unit. I asked multiple times during the process if all the parts were included. And every time the Sales Consultant, Kenny Stokes, assured us that all parts were included. At checkout my husband noticed that the packaging for the Gas Range Connector was opened. In checking the contents of the box he noticed that the items looked to be previously used and that there was no Leak Detection Solution and Pipe Thread Sealant. Additionally the Gas range Connector was previously used. All of these items should be new when selling/installing a new gas stove. Prior to checkout they did replace these items. Unfortunately prior to the scheduled fitting and install of the range at home it was discovered that the range was missing the Gas Pressure Regulator. Again, a critically important piece. We call Best Buy to see if they have the regulator in stock and was told that they do not carry this piece but they could order one which would take 3-5 days to receive. Because the actual installers were already scheduled to come the next day, and also because the install was scheduled the day before Thanksgiving we were forced to order from an outside source with expedited overnight shipping at an additional cost of $118. While I was upset that the Best Buy folks misrepresented a "complete" set of parts for the range top, the fact that they refused to reimburse me for the out-of-pocket cost to secure the missing part made the entire experience even more disheartening. They even refuse to provide some sort of store credit or additional discount to the stove itself but instead said that I could return it....knowing it was just 2 days before Thanksgiving. The installers were already scheduled. And finally, I was told that the manager, Joseph Rizco would not be calling me back to discuss the matter. Needlessness to say, Best Buy has lost a very loyal customer who will never buy from them again, now matter what kind of incentives they are offering.

I purchased a lab top from this best buy and they gave me this huge sales pitch on why I should fiance the purchase and then pay it off in 30 days to get 1 10% in store credit. I did just that and it's been months and I am supposed to receive a rewards card with the credit. I still have received nothing and now corporate best buy is telling me that my time has expired to use my rewards. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT BEST BUY AGAIN. Time to feed the Amazon beast.

This store is horrible and their customer service sucks. They would not price match my phone when the price came down it was within 14 days. I purchased the phone at another store and had the receipt and traded in my old phone. They would not let me return it. Because best buy would not honor the price match I will never buy anything again from them. That's why they are going out of business. The store near my home closed as well. I will be deleting my cards too.

Nice but didn't have the original item that online said they had in stock. Best to call and conform before going.

This is where I do most of my gaming shopping. I talk about how much I love Best Buy on my YouTube channel BPGR all the time. A big part of why is the excellent service I receive when I am in this store.
