Came by here twice in two days. While I understand price match policies, I had hoped that did not include simply the color of the item - well it does. So I needed to discuss a purchase before spending the extra money. After another retailer misguided me the next day, I came back here. Glad I did. The staff was by far more helpful. In fact they tried other sites to try to find a better price match for me. They tried their best and when I left, I felt as though I had made the right decision coming here.

Was expecting to have a new battery installed in my iPhone at my appointment time. Drove 80 miles R/T to find out that my appointment was to order the battery for my phone. Really? It took 20 minutes to complete the paperwork to buy a battery for which I have to make a second 80 miles R/T to have it installed. Earth to Best Buy - ITS A $29 BATTERY, INSTALLED. You’re wasting your Geek’s time and that bothers me a little. But you’re wasting my time and that bothers me a lot. One battery - one trip.

Expensive and way over priced. You're looking at 24 dollars to 40 dollars for a screen protector for a small tablet or phone plus they charge you 8 dollars if you want them to put it on. More employees than Customers filling those aisles. They work as if it's a tag team wrestling match. It's a Dirty tactic. Sometimes a customer wants to look. Also I had a Gift Card from a previous Birthday I ask them how much was on it they should be able to tell by scanning the barcode. I didn't scratch to reveal the card number because I shouldn't have to they do it to prevent you from you selling it so you can scratch it..

I purchased a refrigerator, washer, and dryer about a year ago at this location and it was a wonderful experience. I was so happy to not have commissioned salespeople breathing down my neck. 5 stars.

My laptop crashed, I brought it into the Geek Squad at this location. I had them go through it and they said the hard drive was dead. I then purchased a brand new Solid State Drive 480 GB from them and had them install it in my system. It worked fine for a little bit and then had the same system breakdown with the exact same error message. I brought it back to Best Buy to look it over again. I was told by the tech that the entire computer is fried and that they would get me some money off a new purchase. That was nice but they mistakenly thought I had bought the computer two months ago instead of two years. I corrected them on this because I don’t want to cost a person their job. After I told them it was the new hard drive they installed that was two months old, not the entire laptop they just said “oh, well we can connect you with a salesperson to get a new laptop.” I said thanks but no, I just wanted to return the new solid state drive they had put in my laptop and get the money back. They told me that they could not do that. So to sum this up, I brought it to them to repair which they did not do, I bought a new $150 hard drive from them to install in my computer. When the work they did was ineffective they declined to take the hard drive back, or make the situation right. Please keep in mind that this is after I corrected them about how old my laptop was and could have gotten a great deal with manager approval because an employee typed in the wrong information. I normally like Best Buy and their services, the people are nice. However this incident has really left a bad taste in my mouth. I got burned for being honest and they won’t take a return after not having fixed the problem. Really disappointed and I am not sure I will take my electronics into this place again because if they do attempt a repair, and charge for new things, and if their repair doesn’t work, you are out whatever amount of money you spent.
