I'm writing this review because I work in a place that has had numerous interactions with Best Buy. We used to go there for most of our immediate tech needs. The other day our owner went into best buy after purchasing a speaker from them for his personal use. The speaker came with a 1 year warranty. Our owner was having some issues with his speaker so he took it into the store to get things straightened out. The Best Buy manager Jason could not have been more rude during this interaction. After my owner explained the situation at hand the Manager told him that he had to send it back to the manufacturer and that best buy was unwilling to offer any assistance in the matter because it had been more than 60 days since the speaker was purchased. I understand that it's probably policy that after 60 days the consumer must send it back to the manufacturer, I have no problem with that. Jason's attitude during this interaction is why I'm writing this one star review. He was callous, uncaring, and flat out rude. Our company has spent multiple thousands of dollars with best buy over the past year. It amazes me that someone like Jason is willing to sacrifice multiple thousands of dollars of business for a $100 speaker. Our owner has expressly prohibited shopping at best buy with a company card and will not do business with them again. If I were best buy I'd consider looking into some of these other reviews as well it wouldn't surprise me to find that he has numerous poor relations with customers.

The salesmen were trying so hard to help us, but they didn't have exactly what we wanted. Overall it was a good day. We were laughing with the guys that were trying to help us. It could be that we were being to picky. So please give them a try. In the past they have been able to help.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews but I felt this one called for it. Horrible attitudes in what should be customer service, they acted like I was a huge bother when trying to swap out an defective item, they said they couldn’t do anything without the receipt present, I understand that, but when you tell me you have no way to prove that I purchased it at all... I get you need proof of purchase but don’t try to make it sound like I picked it up from the shelf and walked over to return it when you saw me come straight to the counter from the door. I didn’t even want a refund I just wanted to swap it for a new item and you could tell the one I had was brand new. Guess what? I took my purchase to one of the other locations and they helped me with no issues helping me out. Maybe you shouldn’t be working in customer service if that’s how you deal with every customer. Next time I need to make a $2,000 purchase I won’t be coming back here. (The item I wanted to swap was only $20-$30), I’ve never had an issue with doing this anywhere else.

Usually someone to help or able to pass you to someone who knows about what you're asking. Even during black friday events they keep the lines under control. The smell in there needs to be handled. It always smells like a funky locker room.

Good store! Clean facility and friendly employees. Purchased a tv and sound bar, unfortunately the person assisting me did not know much about the products I was looking at or how to work the display. I was informed that the employee was fairly new only a month or two. So that's the reason for only 4 out of 5, since I was given assistance by an employee who didn't really know the products on display.
