WORST BEST BUY EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! STUCK AT BEST BUY FOR OVER 3 HOURS ONLY TO BE STUCK WITHOUT A PHONE FOR A WHOLE WEEK!!!!
I made an appointment to get a new battery in my phone for 6PM. I was stuck at Best Buy until AFTER THEY CLOSED. I was not seen for my appointment until after 7PM!!! The employee scheduled 3 PHONES FOR THE SAME TIME SLOT! At one point, the employee left the phone station for a while and returned with a DR PEPPER AND SLIM JIM. He had no sense of urgency and NEVER APOLOGIZED for my long wait. After waiting over an hour to be seen for my SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, they worked on my phone for 2 HOURS and as the store was closing, they told me the screen was broken and my phone had to be SENT TO APPLE and wouldn’t be ready for 3-5 business days! I JUST NEEDED A NEW BATTERY!!!

This Best Buy store in West Ashley, Charleston is clean and organized.  The staff members are plentiful, hard-working, friendly and engaging.  They check on customers to see if they need anything, but are not in the least bit pushy or distracting.  Most of them seem knowledgeable in their areas and happy to help you find whatever you need in all departments.   The store is located at a convenient location at the intersection of two highways (SC-7 and US-17) and one interstate (526).  The local option sales taxes are high in this region, but the store price matches vs online competition, so the cost offsets are moderate when compared to a national scale.   The selection available for purchase seems vast, yielding the consumer many choice options.  This is truly a full-service electronics and computer store that needs to be supported before we lose it to online competition.  The aisles are a bit tight to move around other customers, but an agile person should be able to move without much concern.  Handicap access seems fair, but not exceptional or overly challenging.

On of the smaller more cluttered Best buy's but still good. Customer service counter is a little lack luster. Meaning if it's more than just a simple return or if they can't help you quickly and easily then I'd have rather called the 1-800. They also keep changing things around from visit to visit, I've been there five times since the new year. So the store can be tricky to navigate, there's more salesman in the isles blocking your path than are willing to help you, overall customer service isn't up to par, and a smaller than usual selection. So for your average guy who's going in to buy some nicer headphones or a TV that's fine for your real tech. Enthusiast your just as good going to Walmart or Target at this point.

I was able to find what I needed online, check store inventory, and the staff at this location was spectacular!! They knew right where the product was located even though it was in car stereo instead of the cell phone area. I highly recommend shopping here.

Best Buy is the best tech store! From a HUGE variety of products from popular and small brands alike, good prices, and helpful friendly staff, this store WON'T disappoint!
