This is my opinion and review of my experience with Best Doctors Inc.: To the best of my knowledge and my understanding is that the paying customer is companies looking to cut medical costs. As a patient my opinion was that the customers objective held sway over the second opinion I received. I ended up losing bladder and sexual function, endured needless pain, developed muscle atrophy due to spinal compression because the first of their doctors reviewing my case recommended physical therapy for lordosis or poor posture being the cause of my problems, when I protested that I got a second recommendation from another of their doctors for medication for nerve pain and if pain continued to go for a mylogram, from what I remember. My own dr wanted me to have surgery. I asked my doctor about the mylogram and he said it was not needed due to the fact that my symptoms lined up with my MRI. Now I have nerve damage that may never go away. I wonder if an attorney would help these best drs take closer looks at scans,X-rays,MRIs and review what the patient has related on the questionnaire, review the medical records and patients own drs diagnosis, recommendations so that they would strive to be mindful of what's best for people not companies? I will never use them again but rather go to a dr without a possible conflict of interest. Btw I was missing an entire disc at the L5-S1 disc space the vertebrae was rubbing vertebrae, bone on bone. The other levels of my spine also had Stenosis, bone issues and bulging discs. This was no small spinal issue that if you ask me what I think was ignored. I feel like my life is ruined, I don't think I will ever be able to work again, sleep through the night, my marriage and other relationships have suffered. Mentally and emotionally I'm devasted, I feel betrayed by these so called professionals and for what? I write this for you who can be spared a similar expire end urging you to go for a third non biased opinion.
