The hotel is in a good location if using public transport. The neighbourhood, however, is not a place where you can take a leisurely stroll. Good breakfast is provided to start your day right. Not a lot of establishments or nearby restaurants so be sure to eat your dinner before you head back for the night. Hotel bathrooms need to be renovated. Looks dirty even though it was cleaned. Hotel staff is amazing. Very accommodating and easy to talk to.

The Best Western Hotel in Long Island City is number one in my book! It's a great value hotel with good amenities and just a couple minutes walk to the F Train Subway station to get into Manhattan. The staff was caring and very professional, and their breakfast service was delicious and outstanding. I plan to return as often as I can!

The inside of the hotel was very nice and clean - however, the neighborhood was not. We did not feel safe walking in the area. The subway station was 1 1/2 blocks away and we did walk that distance from the hotel, but only once. The front desk staff recommended a restaurant for delivery which we used one night and were EXTREMELY satisfied. I would stay again, but only if I couldn't get a better location - too expensive to take a cab everywhere.

Well managed and well appointed hotel Staff very helpful and efficient. Construction work and rubbish our front of hotel detracted from overall hotel appearance. Queens suburb is also a rundown and fairly rough area by Australian standards and not the best location for a hotel. Transport via Metro from 21St Queensbridge on F line to Manhattan or to JFK is efficient although NY Metro system is old and very dirty and very difficult to navigate. Our trip to NY is likely to be a once in a lifetime experience. NY, the big rotten apple, is not the 1st world city it portrays itself as. Hope this helps.

This place was horrible. My room had roaches!! The shower knob broke. The shower tub drained water extremely slow which had my feet covered in bath water. The shower even got hotter on its own. Everything was dusty. The food was flavorless. I was given a room that wasn’t clean. I am beyond disappointed!!! Do Not Stay Here!
