Hotel is convenient to the Subway (#7 line) to get your through Queens and Manhattan. Nothing special about this hotel, except for the location and convenience. The staff is great and the hotel is ordinary. One thing to note, you will need to go down a flight of stairs (with luggage) to get to the elevator which is NOT convenient with heavy bags. Also, at the time we stayed (last week), the wheelchair lift was out of order. Best to check to ensure that its working.

The room was dirty. The front desk staff was rude - on their cell phone literally the entire time, would not even look up. The bed linen had blood and other stains all over it. The bath water turned on, but the shower did not. There were stains (possibly blood?) On the walls of the bathroom. The hallway smelled like cigarette smoke and some kind of orange cleaner. The shades in the room did not close all the way. I get that it is NYC, but man was this a bad stay.

Very disappointed with how they handle reservations. I used their website to reserve a room. The only option was to put a hold on my room, which I did. I got a text confirming. When I arrived at the hotel, there was no such reservation. I was advised that I could try and book again, but the price was $100.00 more. Although the receptionist was nice, she told me that rates change and there was nothing she could do. I called customer service and was told the same thing. I even offered to send the text that was sent to me but she said it wouldn't matter. Overall really bad experience and no resolution. I will not book with La Quinta again.

It's fine for the price. We were on the "1st" floor which is actually a sub level half below ground. The wall paper in the room is peeling and the knob to adjust the water temperature is missing in the shower. That being said it's clean, the AC is cold, the TV is a good size, we have a mini fridge, and the bed is comfortable. Not a bad option just not perfect.

Excellent breakfast and service!!!! Stayed from June 23-June 25, 2017....rooms were clean and staff were courteous, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and great variety, from fresh fruits to eggs, sausage, cereal, etc.....the had a wonderful machine that made coffee, hot chocolate, etc.....we definitely stay here again and recommend. Close to the number 7 train and parking is free👍🏽
