If you have experienced the refreshed Marriott Courtyards, this isn't one of them.  This is an older property, with 1970's vintage decor.  The bathroom had  been refreshed at some point with a plastic tub liner.  There was visible mold on all seems, and numerous pubic hairs in on shower walls and tub surface.  The bed  linens were tired,  the mattress and pillows were ok, but not great.   The staff was friendly and the service was very good.  If they refresh the property, it would be a great place to stay.

We booked this hotel due to it's location near the airport. Great for a quick stay before am early flight. After hour good options are non existent despite what printed material in your room might say, vending machines were out of order and the business center runs Windows XP computers that don't ease your personal information after you log out, filled with PDFs of people's boarding passes, Marriott MMP discount forms, etc.

All in all, a good experience. 

I chose it for the convenience to La Guardia as I was flying out the next morning. I had been in the city for about a month and dropped off my rental car the day of my Courtyard stay so I could avoid the absolute nightmare that is the 'improvement' of LGA and the usual nonsense of the Grand Central. 

The room was nice & the staff was courteous and proficient. The airport shuttles leave about every 20 minutes, so that's cool. The ONLY complaint I had was the vending machine chocos. They were made -apparently- during the first Bush administration. However, I choose chocolate based on how edible they should be, not for historic keepsakes. Gross.
