My biggest complaint is that the planes are so loud flying over head that it woke me up several times each night. I was on a business trip, so it's important that I get a good night's sleep. Our A/C didn't work, so I had to call down to the desk three nights in a row to ask them to get a maintenance person over. It never happened. Manager was very nice and apologetic, and upgraded us to a different room the third night. I just wish it didn't take three nights for that to happen. Breakfast is the best I've seen at a hotel. Great way to start the day. The hotel in general looks kind of old, but I assume most everything on the East Coast is like that. The decor and furnishings were still very nice. The pub next door has really awesome food. Very fresh and high quality seafood.

We had an enjoyable overnight stay at the Best Western Plus BWI. We booked a stay, fly & park package & got a very good rate. We found the hotel to be very nicely decorated in earth colors & our room was more than nice. We walked over to the Stained Glass pub next door & had a nice dinner. Our flight was too early the next morning to have breakfast, but we were looking forward to getting some juice before we caught the shuttle. We were very sad to find that the juice machine isn't turned on until breakfast, so the clerk gave us each a little bottle of water. The shuttle driver was very nice & got us to the airport in plenty of time. I would recommend this hotel.

Very clean, rooms are immaculate! Though the woman working in the kitchen can be a bit rude. Someone asks if there are more potatoes, she breathes hard and reminds him that breakfast ended at 9a, 20 minutes ago. She said the same thing minutes later as someone asks if she had any more egg patties. This is while shes removing the food from the line. I get it, you are cleaning the line, but think of it this way, you don't have to waste the food if folks are wanting the left overs. Don't get so frustrated fast, don't sweat the small stuff. Front desk staff is very friendly and hospitable. So was the young lady that was cleaning the rooms this morning. As i passed, she gave me a beautiful, genuine smile.

I would have given 5 stars if not for the following. Prior to check in we called to ask about checking in 30-45 minutes early, we were told on the phone "yes we will have rooms ready" we were not asked our name or reservation. Upon arrival we had requested adjoining rooms and were told only 1 of the 2 rooms was ready. We went ahead and unloaded into that room, and went about our trip. I noticed the pool was closed by order of the local health department, so we inquired with the front desk about status, and the gentlemen had no answer for us. The next day the pool was still closed, and again the same guy had no answer other than I needed to talk to the building maintenance guy, aaaaa I am sorry that is part of your job as the front desk attendant. according to our quick and easy call to the Health Dept, the chemicals were too high and the hotel needed to adjust and call for another inspection. The pool finally opened the morning of our checkout, so at least the kids could burn off some energy prior to flight. 2 days before our scheduled arrival we called and added a night stay to the front of our staff, they could have told us then the pool for closed due to chemical imbalance. The overall appearance, cleanness, and staff friendliness was great, except for the check in and pool issues.

Our experience at this hotel was pretty good. The beds were comfortable, room was clean, bathroom was clean and served its purpose. Breakfast the next morning was decent with several choices. I wish they would offer flavored creamers but that is rather nit picky. My only complaint with the room itself was the air conditioner unit. It was very loud. This wasn't an issue during the day but at night it was very distracting, especially when it would turn on. We ended up turning it off and only having the fan on, which lead to a warmer room but quiet. We utilized the shuttle service to the airport in the morning to get our daughter off for her flight, which was part of the reason we stayed at the hotel. The location is wonderful, out of the hustle of traffic and other businesses, but very close to the mall and the airport. The pool was fabulous, much larger than most pools in similar priced hotels. It was nice and warm and my husband also enjoyed the sauna.
