The best Western was clean and comfortable. It was extremely convenient for my business trip due to its location. Breakfast was simple and efficient. The only issue that occurred with this stay was that it was apparent someone had gone through my suitcase while we were out. So the next day we decided to put out a do not disturb and not run the risk of someone doing anything else. I would definitely have to think carefully about staying here again due to this one issue.

We've stayed at the Riviera twice and found it comfortable and affordable relative to the very high prices in the Palo Alto area. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed. The Internet works. The usual hotel breakfast is augmented by a variety of fresh fruit. There is some noise from traffic and the train. Then again, for twice the price, one can stay across the street even closer to the tracks and train whistles. This property is close to the Stanford campus, hospital, Palo Alto Medical and public transportation. Stanford shopping center is a short walk away.

I switched to this hotel after the Mountain View Inn dropped its affiliation with Best Western and I could not be more happy. The drive into the office is just as fast and the quality of the hotel is much better. Only draw back is close proximity to the Caltrain line and Palo Alto station, but after the last train, which isn't too late, there's no problem with noise. They did provide ear plugs just in case. Definitely staying here from now on when working in CA.

Not the most comfortable of stays I would say. The first room that was given had a very noisy ac so we couldn't run it when sleeping on a warm night. Found some bugs in the room as well as mosquitoes. Got a second room the next day which was a little better. However mo apologies from the manager. For 400 bucks a night this might have been the most overpriced Best Western ever.

Reasonable room for the price. Good location. I'd stay here again.
