our stay at the Station House Best Western was pleasant and comfortable. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Linens and towels were clean and in excellent condition. The heating/air conditioning is operated by a wall thermostat which worked well and was quiet. Included in the price of the room is a full service breakfast which is served in their restaurant dining room. I had two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. On site is a pleasant heated pool with patio area. The beach on Lake Tahoe is just two blocks from the motel. Definitely would stay again!

Stayed four nights, nice room, slightly cramped by the sink area, but liked the wardrobe that made the area cramped. Lots of noise during the last two days, they were removing tile and grout in bathroom next door. They did quit at a decent time, but annoying while we were there. The wait staff at the restaurant, for breakfast, were exceptional and the food was very good. The front desk people were friendly and made sure we got what we needed quickly. Liked being off the main road through town, didn't mind being close to the casinos, even though we do not gamble.

Great location! We walked to casinos, beach, concert and restaurants. Hotel was clean, check in was a breeze. Nice renovations and new, modern decor. Very nice alternative to the pricey casinos. Quiet location. Nothing super fancy, but great value and clean. We didn't try the free breakfast at the restaurant next door because we weren't impressed with the "bar" the night before. 4 bar stools inside, small drink selection, Sinatra playing quietly outside(yawn), uncomfortable seating, and poorly made drinks didn't impress me (what kind of bartender doesn't know to put lime in a Moscow Mule?) So, hotel is great, don't bank on the restaurant/lounge for meals and drinks. Thankfully, there are plenty of other great choices nearby.

Love this hotel. Nothing fancy, just a comfortable and affordable place to stay in beautiful Tahoe. The breakfast at the restaurant is outstanding. The rooms are a bit on the small size, but adequate for two. I have stayed here three times and enjoyed each stay.

Great location removed from the activity of the main street yet within walking distance of Lake Tahoe on one side and the casinos on the other. The large room with bedroom and living room each had a TV. The breakfast, provided as part of the rate was outstanding and ordered from a menu. This Best Western is outstanding and we look forward to staying there again in the relatively near future. Highly recommend this one.
