great shop, great friendly knowledgable staff, absolutely happy with the new Trek FX S 5.  highly recommend this shop.  and i have seen quite a few shops over the past 44 years living in S.B.  This is the best.

Best bike shop in Santa Barbara! No question about it! I went to every shop Santa Barbara and Goleta looking for a new road bike. No other shop even compared to Bob's. The staff there is first class. They showed me how tech in the industry has changed and helped me choose what fit my riding needs best. They even let me demo bikes to go on long rides and really feel how different each model was! After I settled on a model, Devin helped me with a Bike Fit which was an amazing experience in and of itself. I've couldn't be happier with the service and product I received from Bicycle Bob's!!

Bicycle Bob's is awesome. I moved to the SB area a year ago and spent a fair amount of time shopping around for a bike. Prices are pretty much the same for what I was looking for (an entry-level road/commuter bike). Bob's has the best customer service by a long shot. The employees are incredibly nice and don't try to sell you things you don't want/need. They also gave free tune-ups and 10% off all accessories for a year when you buy a new bike, and they just emailed me a $10 coupon for my "bike's birthday," so when that stuff gets factored in their prices are probably the best on new bikes. Every time I've taken it in for a (free) tune-up they've had it done on the same day, looking and riding like it was brand new (and my bike gets a ton of abuse). So many good things to say about this place.

The staff at Bob's is always eager to  help and we are very happy with our new Trek E bikes. The store to go to.
