Multiple great experiences. Last one... bike tune-ups: excellent work, brakes and cables all nice and tight, drivetrains very clean and quiet, frames sparkling. Really responsive and fun staff. Have also had good experiences with MTB rentals here but be sure to call ahead.

I really like this place.  The mechanic is great and they are usually not busy - sad for them... but easy to get help right away.  And they do a great job and are not more expensive than any other shop.

Have not ridden a bike in 10 years. Went into the store to get a complete understanding of where to start. I have to say it was a great place to go. Dave who was manning the shop at the time took a lot of time to get me what I needed. He even let me ride 5 different bikes ranging from the bottom $400 to $1100. The parking lot outside provides a great place to test ride the bikes on a relatively flat area. 

I made a purchase that day of a Fuji Two.1. It rides great over the 4 miles I immediately rode it once I got it home around my neighborhood. I have some fitness to gain, but it provided a lot of fun and exercise I have been needing. Even though the prices are MSRP, the service of free 1 year maintenance, and helping you pick your bike is worth any tiny 10%-15% savings you will find online with a bike you have not tried. Dave is also courteous enough to tell you what you do not need. He won't upsell you on things you do not need. 

The 1 year free maintenance he offers is there for a reason, just enjoy your ride and bring it in once a month and he will take care of you. If you want to learn something he will teach you without hesitation. These bikes are quality, the service is the best, and if you are in the area and need a bike or service, come here. Do not cheap out going online or a department store, buy quality product and service from this store.

I needed to change pedals on my bike. I had bough the new pedals and took them to this little store, the gentleman in the shop was working on a bike. Although I did not have any appointment, he fixed my bike right away and saved me the hassle of a return trip. This shop is a little gem in Potomac.
