The folks at Bike Town are awesome. Great selection of bikes and gear for roadies, mtb and cruisers.  The owner Jim is one of the nicest guys I know.  Bike town has a hidden treasure, their bike mechanic Gary.  He is very meticulous and shows great pride in his work.  He can fix and fit your bike so it fits you perfect.  Abilene is blessed to have such an awesome bike store such as Bike Town.  Definetly worth stopping by there at their new store on industrial.

This place is terrible do not go there went in to get a simple 5 speed sprocket change the guy Gary told me I needed a new wheel to put it on so I said okay get me a new wheel he said it would be done by Thursday and call me when ready so went in Thursday too pick it up they did not get the new wheel on there and charged me 27.06 for the sprocket that I had already bought online and took up there they said it would only cost 8 dollars for the labor so I am out 19 bucks now and do not have new wheel like they said please stay away they will rip you off and take your money Gary and Jim MacDonald run bike town please never go there unbelievable place to go for bike parts and service it is a joke.

I went to Biketown to purchase cleats for my shoes for spin class. My instructor as well as some of my classmates  told me that they would put them on my shoes free of charge. When I entered the store there were no other customers there. After telling one of the three guys that were working there what I wanted, I was informed that it would take 20-30 min to put the cleats on my shoes. 
I  said ok I  would wait in the car and thats when he informed me that it would cost 10 dollars to install the cleats. I purchased the cleats and took them home and watched YouTube to install them(took 10 min). Cleats can be purchased  on Amazon for 50% less than Biketown sells them. I guess the guy didn't  want to be bothered.   Biketown  doesn't  have to worry about getting my business anymore.
