For a bakery the selection of baked goods is limited so that is desopointing. They are known for their cookies and they are good but kind of dry as they leave them out all day. To be honest you have to go out of your way to mess up cookies and I have seen it done, but this place def doesn't do that. Now are they the best not really they didn't blow my socks off.  Coffee was good not over brewed or burnt so that's a huge plus for me. I have to try their food next time and I'll update my rating accordingly .

not going back...after being put on the spot at the counter when they ASK for a tip..via digital abusive checkout...  the guy took two marsh mellows ,  put them in a bag....THATS IT 
isn't that his job...Pay your people BB.   stop being so obnoxious.  I have no problem with tipping but this is dumb.  There are lots of good bakeries.  who needs to this harassment.   put a jar on the counter  that says TIP.....you don't need to embarrass your clients into tipping.    FLY AWAY BIRD..

Absolute best cookie downtown! This insane bakery and cafe serves the best in healthy salads like the lemon, chicken and kale with raw corn or a terrific cold noodle salad. Their famous pretzel croissants are not to be missed however the melted chocolate cookies may take center stage amongst near food perfection. Long live city bakery!!! Their soho location is worth a stop with a more limited menu but worth it for coffee and a snack pizza! Flaky perfection. The old vesuvio bakery lives on in the modern tradition.

Fresh and healthy food options served by helpful staff in a small shop.  Also, has excellent large chocolate chip cookies.  Though a bench is inside, it is a take out place for a quick bite at lunchtime.

Most expensive cookies and pastries you'll ever have but dang they're worth it. Also really like the corn-pear muffin things (can't remember exactly). When you are looking for a little treat, this is the place.
