This is one of my favorite restaurants. I love their ribs and also they have variety of sides to pick from. Portions are pretty big and always extra to take home. The zucchini deep is awesome!

This was my first Black Angus experience, but don't let the lack of stars fool you: it was a positive one. First off, I should have expected the cowboy motif from the old commercials I watched, but it still came as a pleasant surprise: I'd rather look at nice photos of men riding horses over scenic expanses than have to endure pop art. The music was too loud, but it was mostly country-western. Now, I'm no fan of the genre, but neither does it offend me, and virtually all other modern music offends me, so I'll happily endure C&W. The steak was better than Sizzler, not nearly as good as Ross Wood's Steakhouse (which was in Manhattan Beach and hasn't existed for decades; be very sorry you never ate there because I did, many times, and they were the best steaks this side of the Sierra Nevada Range), and costs about half as much as any decent steakhouse, maybe even less. I've had a better rib eye steak before, but it cost twice as much and I had to drive to Boise to eat it. So, for the price, I was very happy with my 8 oz. rib eye--and even happier with the free lobster tail that came with it (don't you adore coupons?). Yes, I had better lobster on Martha's Vineyard, but I had to fly to freaking Massachusetts to eat it. My wife's mac & cheese was good, though not as good as Elephant Bar & Grill... which costs more, too. The wild rice and salad sides were fine: nothing fancy, but fresh and fine. My wife loved her mash potatoes (for which I lacked the room to try) and we both enjoyed the dinner roll, which was surprising as we're neither big fans of brown bread. Music was too loud, but tolerable; the waitress was friendly, efficient and helpful, though she could have picked up our check quicker (not really worth mentioning... so why the hell did I?). Food was fine, prompt and the servings more than adequate. It ain't a French bistro, so don't expect fancy. It's just good old American chow, plenty of it and you'll leave satisfied.

Nice place. I have been multiple time over the last few years and never once left disappointed. Great, food, reasonable prices and relaxing atmosphere.

I always look forward to eating at Black Angus while visiting friends in Cali. Our waitress Rachael was AWESOME! One of the best waitresses I have had in a long time. The good was delicious! I asked for A-1Steak sauce, the manager brought me the A-1 , also he brought their own steak sauce. I loved their steak sauce! When we were leaving I told the manager how much I liked their steak sauce, he gave my friend and I a bottle to take home! Thank you!

Good Chicken wings. The manager sat me near a tv to catch Thursday night football like requested. Customer service was...slow and not that friendly. But the chicken wings were good. I know I said that already. Honey Sirracha is a good blend.
