This was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had. The food was excellent and seasoned perfectly. I highly recommend the mountain trout, but everyone in my party enjoyed their meals from burgers to pizza to shrimp and grits. They have wonderful seafood options on the menu, a nice wine selection, and excellent service, too. The restaurant is very small and popular, so I'd recommend making a reservation. We had 5:00 p.m. reservations on a Sunday, and there was already a line at the door waiting to be let in when we arrived a little before 5:00.

Delicious food, excellent service and charming decor. There is an active art mini-gallery in the back near the restrooms that is not to be missed. It gets very crowded during the lunch rush, so you may want to make a reservation to be seated promptly. I had a wonderful time and look forward to returning!

I am not a food critic, but I love Black Market. The food and service are always excellent, but I really like the menu. From casual to gourmet you will not be disappointed. Items like small pizzas, burgers and salads are complemented with entrees like ahi tuna, shrimp and grits, hangar steak and other fine dishes. All are prepared in ways that my description would not do justice to. Plus, if the timing is right, a train may pass on the nearby tracks to add a little rumble to the meal.

This delightful restaurant is on the way to lots of places but also out of the way! The Thai Seafood Stew is one of my wife's favorite dishes ANYWHERE. The bread basket (on request) is worth asking for - the sweet bread is excellent. I had the Roasted Chicken Salad Sandwich today - tasty.and filling. And don't forget the soups (butternut squash is our favorite) or the dessert - today's Creme Brulee (citrus) was delicious!

Excellent service and dining all the way through. I had butternut squash and salmon for lunch on a weekday. Reservations recommended for larger parties. Affiliated with (the excellent) Pearl Dive in DC, but a completely different vibe and menu. Lovely, rustic setting tucked away in a neighborhood next to an unexpected MARC station. Lives up to its billing as one of the best in the County. I’ll be back with friends and family.
