The only reason why this is not a 1 is because they did not charge me to tell me they could not fix it. I had a Diesel Van in Ridgecrest that would not start after being shut off for a few minutes. Paid $75 to have it towed to Blades on recommendations,  Blades looked at it and said that they could not find any trouble codes so they had no idea what was wrong with it. Paid $600.00 to have it towed to Bakersfield, and in less than 30 minutes discovered that it had a cracked fuel suction line by the tank and no fuel in the filters. What happened to Old Time common sense mechanics? If this is the best Ridgecrest can do for a Mechanic shop I feel sorry for the area as without "code readers" you will all soon be pushing your vehicles.

Helpful when I arrived unexpectedly. Worked on my trucks problem immediately. However, $650 and two days later, problem not fixed but probably worse.

Had our truck repair done here, GMC 5500 2006, had a fuel filter changed out and a new tire. Cost was less than quoted. Owner drove, my partner all over to get a rental car.
