I recently started coming to Blades. There's a reason why they are known for their color. They use quality products & really take time to understand what you want. Marlowe is great!  She stays up with the styling trends & has a fresh outlook on keeping her clients looking good!  And she's always smiling!

Since moving to Kentucky two years ago, Blades Salon and Spa has been my "hair home".  All of the stylists, as well as staff members, are courteous and engaging with the clients.  Leanna has been doing my hair since I first started coming to the salon.  She is professional and personable with a very down-to-earth attitude.  I love the service I receive so much that I continue coming here, despite the fact that I now live in Lexington.  The professional atmosphere and sense of genuine care makes the drive worth it!

I've gotten multiple haircuts from Marlowe and absolutely love her and the salon! The staff is always very friendly and I never have to wait long. Marlowe is patient and listens to what I want, while also helping me decide if I'm on the fence. She is very knowledgeable about products that would work well for my hair but I never feel uncomfortably  pressured to buy anything. Always a wonderful experience and I plan on returning many times in the future!

I got a haircut and after she dryed my hair with a roundbrush. It looked fine when I left.  Then when I got home,  I straightened it and I realized how messed up my cut was. I wanted a one length haircut and that is not what I got. I have a layer of hair at the bottom that is jagged and random chunks of hair are way way longer than others. Then I have a shelf of the rest of my hair. The right side goes down a little, the left side goes up quite a bit,  and there is this random point in the back. I usually don't leave reviews,  but this is the worst haircut I've ever gotten. The rest of the employees seemed very nice and may be very good stylists, so I would give them a chance.  I would recommend not going to Brooke for a haircut though. I am not bashing the salon by any means. I just want to let people know what happened, because I wish someone had warned me.

Thank you Marlowe for the best haircut I've had in years. You are the best!!
Also, so nice and so easy to talk to and, most importantly, to communicate with. She knows exactly what I'm talking about when I describe a hairstyle and, believe me, that is a rare talent. I couldn't be more pleased.
