Family

Don and Lynn Blakeman spent years in the diamond industry before they decided to settle down and open a jewelry store. In 1987, they opened Blakeman's Jewelry with $5,000 in savings. The goal was to build a family business and to be able to spend lots of time with the family. Thanks to you, our customers, we reached that goal.

Josh and Ben Blakeman are both certified gemologists, and Josh is a certified bench jeweler. Both are actively involved in the business and many of our employees are also part of our extended family.


Ethics

We always have done and always will do the right thing. This is more important to us than any other aspect of our business. Don Blakeman, our founder, recently earned a master's degree in leadership and ethics from John Brown University, so you can see how high a priority this is for us.

You’ll notice, when you enter our store, that you can see into the jeweler’s workroom, and that the entire space is open and comfortable. That transparency is an essential characteristic of our business. You can browse through the elegant jewelry at your leisure, and the Blakeman family is on the premises to answer your questions.
