Usually extremely tasty. I'll still go back because the flavor is awesome. But the ribs were tough and tasted old this time.

Went back. I was served old food for take out. Hard fries and tough ribs. Shameful.

5/2/18 I’m a glutton for punishment. This time was shorted on half of rack. My problems only occur during takeout. Im wondering if my reviews have anything to do with my poor service, lol. Lived around and ate here since forever so I’m well aware of the serving sizes. When I’m sitting in...perfect. No problems. Disappointing. The service when taking out should be just as great as sitting in. Oh well, cant win them all.

One of the best places for Portuguese BBQ outside of ferry street in Newark. Great food , good service and large portions.  CASH ONLY

I have to be honest and say this was by far the worst bbq I ever had. I’m pretty sure my chicken was from yesterday. The fries were as soggy as wet ass hair and if I only had one thing left to eat, and it was this I’d rather die. This was the worst equivalence of the word food I have ever seen. Seriously a depressing sight.
