Where to start being in that this is a coop you would think you get a sort of down-home experience caring face polite staff which is not the case at all the cafe leaves more than just a little to be desired and now after having let go one of their very best Baker's I can only for see it going further down hill into unrepairable perhaps the new building will bring it back to a possible once former glory but if you can't change the attitudes you can't change the environment most the staff meets you with a sour smile and a judgmental stare if you don't dress and look the part it's like they don't want your business remember healthy eaters come from all walks of life you would think of coop would know. The manager has no business in the position he's been put in he has no idea how to be an Authority or sympathetic or leader of any kind. I have hope that maybe this place will find some new management and smiling faces but in the meantime I hope the right person reads this and reevaluate their management because they lost one hell of a good employee only due to the fact that their manager is less than professional

Nice place but they could do more to stock local produce and cut down on imported non-seasonal fruit and veg. Manager was a little curt but generally nice place to hang out or get groceries.

This small shop packs a great variety of organic foods, from vegetables to bulk goods, as well as a food counter that sells sandwiches, salads and daily specials. While the produce can be on the expensive side, their lunch offerings are very reasonably priced. They also have a decent selection of wines and beers. The staff is very friendly and helpful and ready to welcome visitors to their community.
