Blue Hill at Washington Place is one of New York City’s utmost fine dining experiences. Starting from the low-key lighting and tasteful music selection, the ambiance sets one up for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. The kitchen staff accommodate to any dietary preferences or needs. The standard menu is a four-course meal for $95 and the Farmer’s Feast is a six-course meal for $108. Either choice will leave one gaily satisfied, and I would recommend choosing based on which menu offers more appealing courses. The waitresses and waiters are professional, knowledgeable, and endearing. Cellular phone usage is dissuaded, but do not worry, an evening at Blue Hill is unforgettable.

One of the best dining experiences my wife and I have ever had! The food and drinks were top notch - even though it was winter vegetables it was excellent and the beers were unique to the restaurant - one was a collaboration with a local brewery and only available at Blue Hill. The service was also excellent - just the right amount with someone to answer questions whenever we had one. Highly recommend, tough reservation to get, we are already planning when we can get back.

I was not sure of this place at first, but after reading then reviews, I decided to give it a shot. My wife was a big fan of it because she had been there before. I had to try it and I must say, I was not disappointed at all. The food was seasoned so well. I am not used to great food like this. I was amazed at how well the food was cooked and the service was perfect on top of that. We had some veggie appetizers that were so good. The best part about the food was the sauces. They were all made to perfection. This was the perfect New York City dining experience. We had a really great time. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is in NYC.

Service absolutely impeccable. Atmosphere is very good for a high-end formal restaurant, it feels very right, relaxed, never tight. We never felt rush though it took us 3 hours to go over dinner. I just miss a star because I was a bit unimpressed by the food. It was very playful, ingredients are top, very well executed but my mouth didn’t encountered these things that makes an memorable dinner. Which it did in my previous dinners there (it’s been at least 4 years since i visited...). Also would definitely fee rights if some of the dish were a bit bigger portions. I certainly dont want to feel full, but should not have a bit of hunger after a feast menu, which was a bit the case. Very nice wine menu, original.

Service is impeccable. We had a tasting menu. Started with caviar and all uphill from there. Each dish is prepared with style and taste, adventurous dishes with confident wine pairings. Worth every bite.
