Blue Hill Memorial Hospital is a community hospital located in Blue Hill, Maine with practices in Bucksport, Castine, and Stonington. We are a proud member of Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems.
Blue Hill Memorial Hospital (BHMH) is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering primary and selected specialty healthcare services. Mrs. F.B. Richards donated the original hospital in 1922 in honor of her daughter, Katherine. Nearly 90 years later, we are proud to be the largest employer in our region and an affiliate of EMHS. The hospital’s primary care practices are located in Blue Hill, Castine, and Stonington.
Our Mission:
We are dedicated to improving the health and wellness of our communities by providing primary and specialty health care of outstanding quality and caring for our patients with respect and compassion.
Our Vision:

As a leader in quality healthcare delivery our goal is to provide you with an individualized approach to assist in your recovery from injury or illness and to restore your quality of life. BHMH is small enough to provide care in a personal and comfortable setting, but large enough to offer specialized medical services with the latest technologies.
