Being from Maine, the ski resorts in New England are far superior to what Blue Mountain offers. First the pros: Taking weather conditions out of the equation, Blue Mountain has a few fast lifts, a good selection of trails, excellent snow-making capabilities, and great lighting for night skiing. The automatic turnstile technology is cool at the lifts. Now for the cons: Managing lunch orders is absolutely TERRIBLE. Plan on being in line for at least 30 minutes for something as small as an order of fries. Do yourself a favor and bring your lunch. It was pretty icy when I was there and it's to be expected at a place this far south. Overall, it's good for a day trip being this far south, but I would recommend heading further north to New England for much better skiing.

It's been a long time since I've been here. Forgot how great it is. Thing that drove me away was unsafe snowboarders crashing into you. The times I've gone is when a majority of boarders were off the mountain. Both lodges are good to. Although summit lodge cafeteria should take notes on valley cafeteria and have food ready versus made to order and wait for it to be ready. You come in to take weight of your feet to rest, not stand for 30 minutes waiting for food.

I lived in the Lehigh Valley all my life. The only time I've ever been to Blue Mountain was July 2016 to meet a date. It was very nice. Amazing views and ample places to sit where we weren't on top of others. I had an iced tea. It was good iced tea. My date had two beers. She liked them. We never spoke after that night. I don't ski or do winter activities so it'll probably be another 50 years before I go back.

Absolutely love this place. Probably the best resort in Pennsylvania. Though there isn't any lodging on site there are places nearby. There are a large variety of trails which accommodate all skill levels of both skiers and snowboarders. They also offer snow tubing. The staff members are extremely helpful. The food is also reasonably priced and of good quality. I broke my arm here falling on ice last month so my day was cut short but I've been here a few times before. Be sure to check the conditions before getting a ticket to avoid anything like that happening.

Really good staff. We were here for 1st timer lessons and they made it so nice & easy even on a super rush holiday weekend. Every Sunday in January is a learners paradise as they have a 90 minute lesson & ski rentals all for $50. That is a true winner. They have decent food selections in the cafe but not very great. Overall a very nice place.
