Great cozy location with local art and owners. Cool motif around the building and bar. They were out of the special soup and the burrito was only so-so, with too many veggies and not enough meat. Still, other things on the menu looked very good. Appetizers were great. No kids menu. On the pricey side with entree's in the $30 dollar range. Burgers and sandwiches available in the $15 range however. Definitely check it out if you haven't yet and are in the area!

Excellent food. Charming atmosphere. The couple that owns it are the Chef and Host. Very friendly. The locals love the place. Definitely need a reservation, especially in the summer.

Our server, Phoebe B. Was Brilliant! Very pleased she convinced us to get the Coconut Shrimp $13. She said it was rare that they have it as a Special. It was probably the best part of the meal along with the warm Brownie Sundae $10, I shared. Lobster Saute $31 was good, but not extraordinary. The food here is good but not worth the high price. The online menu doesn't have the prices listed which feeds into "if you have to ask, you can't afford it." This is Vermont, this tells they think they would scare people away by sharing the prices. The location is a quaint old house. Decor is charming, but the downstairs space is very noisy. Upstairs is a little quieter, but no real views. For the money, I'd rather drive north on RT 2 and choose one of the Island inns with a lake view!

Excellent food! Great nightly specials. It's Vermont so of course top notch beer selection. We had steak and it was cooked perfectly to our desired temperature. We went we three young children and found the staff more than accommodating. Great meal from Appetizer through Dessert.
