Sushi was amazing, super fresh and delicious (especially the Surf and Turf roll). Would give 5 starts but service was poor. There was a long wait time to even sit down, long food wait because our order was given to another table. I think we finally ate about an hour and maybe a half after getting there. They were apologetic and provided a free dessert and a discount, but the mishap could have been prevented. Will likely return on a less busy day (we went Friday night).

Edit (1/26/18):
I have changed this to 5 stars due to my experience tonight. We went right when it opened on a Friday afteroid rather than later at night, our server Christian was hilarious and attentive and the food was delicious. The Super Protein Roll literally melts in your mouth with such fresh fish. Had a great experience this time around, we will continue to visit around this time.

Remarkable cuisine is just the start. As a server here, I am happy to report that Blue Samurai is owned by a traditionally trained sushi chef who magnifies the sushi with artful direction and sources each ingredient from the best of the best, worldwide! Salmon from Norway, uni from the Bay Area, all organic chicken and vegetables, quail eggs from a local farm. Please do enjoy a meal here and know that all of us staff appreciate you and truly want you to have a fun and special experience. See you soon. Cheers!

First time and didn't make reservations, so we sat at the counter.  It was great, as we got recommendations from the gal making rolls.  We had amazing food, wonderful service and will definitely be back!

This is the second time my wife and I have come in to this place and we completely love it! It's a small place, but it wasn't too crowded this time. Their sushi is awesome and their drinks are better! Stop in when you have the funds!

We came in and found out we have to wait for 45 minutes. Because the place is so popular and there is limitd seating. The food is really good. Being vegan in Kalispell, MT is not a popular thing, so we were pleasantly surprised when we found out they have vegan rolls in their menu. They have four types of vegan rolls and they are all scrumptious. They have limited selection of drinks in that they don't have juices available. They do have beer, wine and sodas. It is really awesome that they make fresh sushi right in front of the bar. All in all service and the food is really good, worth the wait.
