Story

Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park has been serving families of all faiths in the Northeast Tarrant County area since 1953. Our full-service funeral home, cemetery and flower shop are located at the intersection of Highway 26 and Hall-Johnson Road, making it easy for families to complete their final arrangements from one convenient location.

In addition to five staterooms, our beautiful facility includes a 260-seat chapel with cathedral ceilings and a full-service flower shop. We specialize in custom funeral planning and believe that every life is unique. The choices you make to celebrate that life can also be as unique and personalized as you wish. This perpetual care cemetery covers more than 60 acres and offers a variety of choices for planning your family burial estate. Options include traditional ground burial and garden estates, private family mausoleums, our beautiful lakeside community mausoleum, and a variety of columbaria for inurnment of cremated remains. Beautiful granite upright monuments are available in designated areas of our cemetery gardens, along with flat granite or bronze on granite memorials.
The Bluebonnet Hills community mausoleum overlooks the beautiful Lake of Reflection. The mausoleum offers single and double crypts for those who desire aboveground entombment. Niches for cremated remains are also available within the community mausoleum. Private family mausoleums can also be designed to meet your family’s special needs.

Another option for families choosing cremation is the extraordinary Whispering Waters Cremation Garden at Bluebonnet Hills, filled with remembrance options including family estates, personalized granite pedestals, benches and other unique options such as granite chess table niches. At Bluebonnet Hills, it is not unusual to see a horse-drawn carriage leading a procession to a gravesite. Each May, more than a thousand people gather to honor our nation’s veterans at special Memorial Day services.
