They are the best makeup store! They carry all the hard to find brands even Chanel!

I don't know, I'm always in shorts, and have always been treated well. Maybe this is where personalities come into play. Started coming here in 2006, yes there were a few strange girls, but for the most part, they were great. You just have to find the one that had that smile. I was there yesterday, live to chat and had a great time. There is a turnover in employees, and that may be a good thing, great staff there now.

I *love* coming to Blue Mercury, mostly because of their selection. However, the last few times I've been, the service from their employees has been awful. The manager is *extremely* nice and helpful, and I have had good help from one other sales person, however most of my encounters with the other sales people (or rather, lack thereof), has been very rude. Today when I walked in, two sales people were whispering to each other in the middle of the store and neither asked me if I needed help. Then when I was being rung up by one of them, she didn't say one word to me. Then the other one came up and they continued to whisper to each other, right in front of me. I would spend a lot more money if they had better people on the floor.

This is such an awesome store! I love the all the lines that are carried, and its so nice to not have to run around town to gets my faves from all the seperate lines. HOWEVER, the feeling of this place is worst than an icebox. The majority of the women who work here are SO RUDE. It's too bad that they feel that they can pass judgement on how much I may spend in their establishment. Just because I come in w/ a ponytail and t-shirt and jeans DOES NOT MAKE ME AN WORTHLESS CUSTOMER. I always make it a point to take a whirl through the store when I'm up at La Encatada. I'm a beauty addict, and a die hard Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, NARS, Mario Badescu, and Bumble and Bumble fan. In my experiences, I have been totally ignored, whispered about, eyes rolled at, silently followed around the store (creepy right?), and insistently and insincerely asked, "if [I'm] doing ok?" I wish this place would realize that m/u should be fun, and shouldn't be taken so seriously. They won't let off this stuffy attitude and its honestly killing their business. There have been times I have decided to purchase something in the store, but have been so overwhelmed w/ their rudeness that I left and purchased the items at other malls. It's too bad. It could very well be my favorite store in Tucson otherwise. If you are upper class and dress to the nines it may not be a bad place to shop, they may actually treat you decently.
