I have a very reactive dog, and the staff at BluePearl very understanding and help me to get my dog in and out of the clinic with a minimum of fuss. Also, as my dog was there for an oncology consultation, they had scheduled an ultrasound for about two hours after the original appointment. I was not expecting this and had planned on going back to work, so they made a commendation for me to leave my dog, Abby, with them until I got off work, and they even gave me a picture of her enjoying herself while she was there.
The appointment itself went well, Dr. Breit was very thorough and explained all of my options. I really appreciate the care and concern shown by the staff at BluePearl, especially since I went through the same process four years ago with a different dog. I feel that they will be excellent partners in caring for Abby, and under the circumstances, I am very pleased with how we were treated! Seeing welcome Abby on the board when I walked in was an especially nice touch.

My cat had a seizure and being on a Sunday regular vet was closed.  Called BluePearl Veterinary emergency hospital and they told me to bring my cat right down. When I got there I had to fill out a form and have a seat and then waited about 20 minutes before a tech came out to take his vitals. I was then told that there was only one veterinarian on staff and that "as you can see" was very busy and that it would be 2 to 3 hours before my cat was seen. The tech offered to take my cat back to the veterinarian's office where he could be monitored in case he had another seizure the idea was to put a bell on him and if he started to have a seizure again it would ring and somebody would hear it. I told her since the veterinarian was so busy that maybe I should just keep my cat with me in the waiting room and wait the two to three hours to get him seen. An hour went by before the tech came out again and told me that since my cat has been stable and his vitals were stable that I should probably go ahead and go home and monitor him and take him to his vet the next day. And that if he should have another seizure to definitely come back down and that he would be seen immediately. fortunately for me my cat did not have another seizure and we were able to go see his regular veterinarian.  to add insult to injury when I checked in  my cat today with his regular veterinarian the technician told me that blue pearl said that I had refused medical attention and left. That definitely was not the case and it is very insulting. I will never take my cat down there. . Word of advice is they need to staff more than one veterinarian on a Sunday in an emergency pet hospital. that's ridiculous all the other veterinary clinics are closed on Sundays and so we're at the mercy of a place like blue pearl  only Staffing one veterinarian for the entire area. Btw..i would recommend trying to find another emergency hospital for your pet...there were several other animals waiting hours to be seen

The entire team at the Renton Blue Pearl is amazing. It seems like everyone in the office knows my dog. Whenever we are in for an appointment, they all great him by name. We didn't think our dog was going to make it when we brought him to Blue Pearl since he was so sick. We are amazed with the hard work and dedication this team has to help our dog. We appreciate everything about them and they are always there to answer any of our questions. I would highly recommend Blue Pearl for an emergency or specialty vet. With their care we are able to say that our pup is happy and healthy again!

My 16 year old dog was having severe breathing issues so I rushed her to BluePearl.  I've visited the Renton hospital on several occasions in the past because of their highly knowledgeable and skilled staff.  I have complete trust in their care of my pets and couldn't think of anywhere else I'd rather take them to in emergency situations.  My dog make a tremendous recovery and was able to come home after 24 hours.  Thank you to the entire BluePearl team for taking such great care of her!  I highly recommend BluePearl to others seeking emergency care for their beloved four-legged companions!

They are very professional but do not take appointments.   Also,  be advised that since they are essentially a pet ER that they see pets in order of the seriousness of their malady,  not in the order of arrival.   We waited 3 hours last time we went.   Still,  they have excellent vets on staff and it is the way to go if you are having an emergency and can't get to a regular vet.  PS, they are not cheap.
