First time eating here and the food was a bit overpriced. Not bad, but nothing special. The outdoor atmosphere by the lake is absolutely beautiful, however. Luckily the alcohol isn't overpriced. I'd recommend upping the quality of the food and having a server for the outdoor patio area. A greater waitress can turn an average experience into an extraordinary one. And if you're legally able to have it, it would be great to allow smoking on at least part of the patio.

Worst experience ever. Megan the manager was worthless and rude. Will never go again unless I get a apology.....I will also go out of my way to share the experience. We were seated inside.....it was to warm the waitress offered to move us outside. 5 of us sat at a 4 top and had my grandson. Waitress Missed one meal....but Long story short. Megan says I need a chair so we sat the car seat on the ground....vs getting any one of the 20 other empty chairs. Asked for her name and she said it's not their policy to give names. She says very condescending, we don't give names out......accused us of seating our selves. I will do the owner a favor and will be calling....I would hate to own a Resturant and have this type of representation

Honestly... I did this to myself. I should have read reviews before I decided to go. Good: The patio is nice, quiet, and covered. There’s a nice view of the lake and people on paddle boats. The shade was good in this summer heat. Bad: None of our food was good. The crab cakes were mostly filling, didn’t taste any crab. The aioli wasn’t great. The slaw was dry. The cod with the fish and chips taste like grease. The fries were cool, but nothing you couldn’t get at Costco. The grilled salmon sandwich, their “most popular sandwich,” is just a dry piece of salmon and their dry slaw, no kind of sauce. The service wasn’t good. Our server didn’t check on us at all. We didn’t get drink refills until somebody else noticed empty glasses on the table. We didn’t order our meals until the appetizer came out, but the food came almost immediately. Kinda like they were just sitting in a window waiting to be ordered... Consequently, my sandwich came with potato salad even though I asked for fries instead. We didn’t see our server that much. Most of what we asked her for was delivered by someone else. SO. Basically.... I say all this to say... I probably wouldn’t come back here unless it was the last restaurant open in the city.

We have been coming here for over 10 years since it is one of the few pet friendly restaurants in St Louis and in the past we always enjoyed our time here. We live about two hours away so we would visit 3 to 5 times a year. We would often stop by after taking the dogs to the Animal Eye Associates, there are no Animal eye doctors were i live. However, they have changed. This last visit we were told only part of the outside area is pet friendly. Now when you come with your pet you must sit in the self serve area, which is not always easy with a pet. Not to mention in the past they did not have a self serve area, no matter where you sat they waited on you. The self serve area also has the least amount of shade so it gets very uncomfortable for both pets and people in that area on a hot day. The bar where you order food in the self serve area does not have a water, that means you have to buy bottle water for yourself and your pet instead of getting a glass of ice water. We complained to the manager, however she did not seem to care that we were unhappy, she just told us that they changed their policy two years ago. Which was surprising because we visited anout 2 months ago and sat in the regular area and we were waited on. Fortunately St Louis does have some other pet friendly restaurants, in the future we will go somewhere else.

Great service and a wonderful atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was knowledgeable towards food allergies and friendly. We did wait for our table but it was a nice day where we could sit outside and enjoy the paddle boats
