Good place. Had to exchange an item that I received for Christmas. The item came apart at the stitched seam after one use, and they let me exchange it for a new one without the receipt. Good service and friendly staff.

This store is NOT family friendly. Employees are extremely vulgar. No one knows anything. It's just a bunch of high school kids, who when asked a question, just point in the general direction of whatever your looking for; and cannot be bothered to stop talking with a co-worker, to help. The store is extremely overcrowded. A person cannot even walk through some of the aisles without knocking a bunch of stuff off of hooks, or shelves. They sell a bunch of products with broken packaging, which are often missing pieces. I use to love to shop in this store, but within the last year, I have never left satisfied. 

If you are looking for something in particular. Go to sportsmans. At least there you can find something, and come back to get it the next day without finding that half the store has been totally rearranged. And if you want good prices go online. 

I've never written a review before. But i am so disgruntled with this store I don't know what else to do.

EST place for the outdoor enthusiast. Fishing gear is well worth looking at. Sales often give a good discount!

Upon recent visits to Helena (gf lives here) I have come and shopped at Bob's Ward's for camping and clothing gear. Prices have been very reasonable and have always found what I needed. Staff have been helpful and also pleasant to deal with. I recommend stopping in if your ever looking for outdoor wear, camping and or hunting gear.

Keep it local.  Nice selection of equipment running the gambit of outdoor goods.  Staff is available and eager to assist if needed.
