Our family loves Target, but this particular location is in our opinion the worst managed and least equipped location we’ve ever encountered (in the 6 states we’ve lived). Stocking is constantly being done during busy times and when it is done, the employees are poorly trained and often block aisles without care. They are often unkempt and not caught up on placing sale stickers on items that are on sale (many times we have to self scan something and often it’s a different price than the label). Customer service from the management team is horrible. Customer service from the cashiers is fine except they are incredibly slow and inept. The store feels cluttered while still being out of stock often - again, the management team seems completely aloof and uncaring to these facts. The Bozeman Target is a night and day different - as is every other one we’ve been to (over 20 of them) in states like Minnesota, Colorado, California, Washington, and Arizona.

I have found asking the younger people there anything is like beating your head against the wall. I don't know how many times I inturupted them by asking them where something is or if I could grab something behind their carts. Shelves are marked with tags but are empty for days, while it is sitting in the back room. I was told there is nothing to be done about it and when I asked of they could go get it, I got the deer in the headlights look. He laughed and said no. Go there in the morning, the staff is way more helpful.

You don't have to see "wal-mart people" it's the classier of the two and most employee's are nice and helpful.

Use to love Target but the whole self checkout thing is rediculous! Takes longer, even if you know what you're doing & no customer/employee interaction is just one more reason to not shop there anymore. Might as well just order online! Way to cut corners Target! Plus, think of all the people that touch those same screens during cold & flu season, instead of just one employee!

Great Target nice clean store. Well-organized got all the stuff I needed and out the door quickly thanks to lots of cashiers being ready to help. I like that
