Bocado burger has great food, but for the love of the longevity of your business, either let us pay at the counter, or have full service waitstaff!! My office is at Avalon, so I go to Bocado often. Every single time, it bewilders me how to tip the waitstaff because they aren't full service. Recently, I asked if the waitstaff was paid the typical $2.13/hour or if they were paid as full-time staff. To my surprise, they are paid $2.13, which means they expect a 20% tip. Why on earth would I tip someone 20% when I get my own drink and order my own food? BOCADO - YOU HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BE SO GREAT, BUT ONLY IDIOTS WOULD WORK AT YOUR RESTAURANT BECAUSE THE TIPPING SCHEME IS SO CONFUSING. Be smart and reform because your burgers are so good!!! Lastly, as someone that works at Avalon, Bocado offers me a 10% discount, which I mention to the person taking my order. Without a doubt every single time they do not give us the discount which drags out the payment process, and it is such a pain in the ass. Get your stuff together!

I had the double patty burger. Not the best I have had in this area at this price range. I am still hungry after the burger. Ingredients are mostly fresh, the meat itself was somewhat dry for a recently cooked burger, unless it was sitting waiting to be placed on a bun. Also tasted the sweet potato fries they are good, but a very low quantity serving. We had to clean our table before sitting we also waited longer to get our credit cards back than the time it took to get our food.

Just left fairly disappointed in this place. From beginning to end this place was sub par and bellow what one would expect. I'm sure they have better days but this wasn't one of them. I think "Gebril" was our server and he failed at everything but having a cheerful personality. I got a double meat option and it literally came out to the price of two burgers. Which is a flaw in pricing anywhere you go. On a night where I could count the number of seated guests on one hand.. me and the person that attended me didn't get any water refilled regardless of having finished it prior to the food coming and we had asked for ketchup in between and had never gotten that as well. We paid for our meal then went to Marlows tavern. Better food and by far better service. They'd probably also tell me if it's a better option to just get two burgers and yes... I was actually hungry enough to go eat somewhere else.

I got the Swiss and turkey burger, but watch out it has pork in it....never seen that before. My dad got the strawberry milkshake and loved it. The atmosphere was pretty chill and modern. However I didn't like when I went to the bathroom, the auto water came out cold most restaurants now have warm water come from the faucets. I hope employees are using warm water somewhere before handing food, and I guess the customer will just have to hope our hands are semi clean

Bocado Burgers was clean, including restrooms. Really good burgers & good pricing for Avalon area. My daughter said her Strawberry shake was very delicious & worth the price! Be aware that fries cost extra when they ask if you want them with your order. Will return in future!
