First time here and at dinner with my wife. Food was average to poor. I'm a big fan of sushi and all Asian foods, but this meal both of us had was not good. Perfect example of chain restaurants. Poorly cooked, cold when arrived, over spiced, vegetables wimpy, sushi was okay, beer was not cold enough and was sitting at bar too long before delivered, wife's drink little alcohol, had to ask for chop sticks, wife's salad...well anyway. Atmosphere was good and server friendly. Good crowd.

The waiter was extremely creepy while i was on my date.. kept telling me i smelled good and touching my shoulder! I recently revisited and got him again. Told my friend and i he was in a rush and needed to leave, and basically threw the bill in our face while we were still eating, and asking when we were gonna pay. Very unprofessional! The service is slow and he walked past us 4 times before we could even get drinks. No silverware or napkins, and we waited an hour for our food. Will definitely not be returning here.

Three stars are generous considering the food quality in comparison to price. It's a mediocre menu, and the foods are bland. You're paying for the location and ambiance more so than good food. I enjoyed my soup, yet it's hard to go wrong with a bowl of soup. It's the chicken chili soup with a Tex-Mex twist and infused with Asian beer. It's a different combination, but I was satisfied. I had a cocktail, which was good. For the appetizer, I had the potstickers. They were flimsy and very unauthentic tasting, but I finished them off. I've visited this place in the evening; it draws a posh crowd, but the food quality certainly decreases compared to the lunch hour. Overall, this place is cool. I'll probably return to check out the seasonal menu, drinks, and sushi which is go-to. I'm not in a rush for more than said.

Ambiance is nice, but the service is EXTREMELY SLOW. Server didn't put my order in for appetizer, and he not very attentive. One of the other servers helped us out a lot and was very hospitable. No condiments on the table at all, and we weren't asked. Our waiter never came back to refill our drinks. I wouldn't come back again. 😕

What started as a decent place - especially for takeout - has now cratered. The servers just don't care (as echoed by other reviewers) - they don't want to hear that your food wasn't good. The bartenders were more interested in talking to their friends rather than helping my party. Maybe the Avalon expansion (including the hotel) will help with improving their business - and guests - but it's doubtful. There are much better options in Avalon.
