If you go on a weekend night, expect over an hour wait. Fantastic fresh ingredients that they take great pride in serving. Early on poor service and requested management assistance that came to the rescue! Really caring management and staff is catching on. Hot spot in AVALON. Must go

Even though there was a 2 hour wait for 2 we walked around Avalon and got a text about 10 min before our seat was ready. As soon as we got there we sat down. 

Our server was pleasant, excited and knowledgeable of the menu and food. The table came with chips and salsa. The red salsa was crazy good and paired well with the thinly made chips. 

The guacamole was small but tasty with strong accents of garlic. It came with fried chips...very fried...we didn't eat them. 

The mixed fajitas were fantastic and cooked to perfection served with 6 hot tortillas, butter salsa and unique baked beans. 

The paired margarita was made straight from tequila like juice and salt. No mix!

For dessert we had homemade flan. Even though it was small it was creamy and silky.  

Definitely will come back. I

Really good salsa. It has a smokey flavor, but it still is very spicy... really different and delicious. The food is good. I ordered the veggie fajitas but everything tasted very salty. There was good flavor, but i was very aware of the salt content. I would still recommend the place.

Great Restaurant! Best service I have experienced in 10 years. The GM stopped by our table and was genuinely interested in how we were. She has a great thing going at The El Felix!!!

Food a bit on the spendy side but worth every penny. Better than the food is the service. They took us 15 mins before closing and treated us like family. One dessert didn't agree with me. They offered me an alternative but when I declined just took it off the menu. We will definitely be back.
