Had an awesome experience went during the weekend of new year's. Not many people cause it was cold. There were only about 5 people using pits around us so it was calm and it's also isolated from the city so makes it seem your far away from the city. Police were nice and weren't rude to us about leaving at 10. Would recommend. But take enough food as it's not close to any stores

Where are all of the Palm Trees? There is so much trash on the beach!! My sister and I also found a dead bird...gross, also found a dead fish. Beautiful sand and clear-ish water. Super fun for my family but all of the oil barges ruined the ocean view. Over all this is a pretty nice place.

Great beach to bring kids. The waves are gentle and the parking is close to the water. Good place to have a bonfire. Grab fire pits early during the summer and extremely early on holidays. There are plenty of new dining options and actually some good food options. You can grab a beer or wine at Sea Legs and they have live music there from time to time. There is a lot of people surfing but the beach is wide and you should be able to find a peak that's not too crowded.

Beautiful park with smaller parking lots. We walked here for a few hours and saw insects, lizards, several different types of birds and even a pair of baby owls! We were very glad that we brought binoculars. There are dirt paths that are relatively even but are steep at times. Wear appropriate fotwear like tennis shoes or hiking boots.

Great view of the sunset and great beach access. Very tight if you have a big rig. Also the park rangers are little over the top. Maybe there is a lot of shady stuff that goes on but I felt very secure and comfortable there. Who knows.
