Great location, friendly staff, nice very clean restroom/bathhouse/laundry house. Yes the place is adjacent to I-10 and there is road noise. The lake is an old sand quarry used to build up the interstate. It is very deep and the lake water is constantly being pumped out to feed other nearby lakes, so the water circulates, never becoming stagnant. Boomtown lake is beautiful, the water is very clean.

We were out of options on a place to stay and ended up here for an overnight. We were grateful to not have to park at walmart, but my goodness this place is not for "campers". 90% of the spots are for permanent or long term tenants. There is a small section of about 8 spaces at the far end of the park that has been kept for overnight guests. The only good part about it is that it is next to the doggie yard area which is pretty nice. And the road noise is exactly what you can imagine if you take note of the location and its proximity to the interstate. My recommendation is to have a loud fan to drown out the cars, trucks and motorcycles constantly passing right outside your window.

Right next to the interstate so it can be very noisy at times. Overall I love it. What really won me over was the bathhouse/laundry. INDIVIDUAL SHOWERS each in their own room. That's hard to find in an Rv park. Stayed a week. Pros: friendly neighbors, clean bath house and laundry, of course the lake. Cons: price was a little steep for them not to have wifi. It's only at the office but they said it's coming soon. The traffic with all the cars coming in and out and the location can be a deal breaker for some.

Don't let the pictures fool you. Nice young girl at checkin. Decent TV service although we were told we wouldn't have service don't know if what we had, had anything to do with it. Sling TV. My advice is to check out the The place BEFORE YOU PAY! We are far from snobs but we didn't care for this place at all. And beware of add on pricing, ie: swimming.

The holding tank for sewer flooded behind us multiple times; not once was a professional service called! The owners continued to send the general grounds keeper/maintenance men to try to fix it! It reeked of sewer and raw sewage flooded several spaces with NO response from the owners! If have a dog over 15lbs expect trouble from management until you are asked to get rid of your pet or leave the park. My 12yr old son picked up a baggie of what appeared to CRYSTAL METH marked 100$ from the main drive; management never addressed the issue. Manager Patricia picks on certain campers and applies "rules" to them and not others. We were kicked out for a bully breed dog after 3 months and nowhere on the grounds or in the lease is anything stated you can't have a bully breed (Boston Terrier/Lab mix). Washers always broken, toilets always stopped up, showers out of order, sinks and showers holding water. If wanting to stay longer than a day or two, I strongly urge you to find another place!!!!
