I usually don't write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one because I could not believe how I was treated and to warn other people about dealing with that company. I had a thankless water heater for 12 years and suddenly it started to work properly. I called Boston standard and you told that the unit needs service  and that will fix the problem Paid 523 dollars. A few days later the same error code and the problem. They came and placed a pump for 408 dollars and was told everything is fixed. Unfortunately few days later same problem. Called a different plumber who advised a new system and he replaced my old heater. Called to the owner and he hang up on me and refused to reimburse my money almost a 1000 dollars, The new system cost me 1500 dollars.
I had to let people know Bad business , very expensive and not friendly get a quote from somebody else. I feel very horrible writing this review  but i felt compelled to share my experience

John is a very competent engineer and is personally very friendly and helpful. The reason I have given him a 4-star rather than a 5-star review is that the one area he needs improvement with is tidiness and neatness. Without boring you with the details, there were four areas of the project that earned that lost star. To be fair, after pointing out my concerns to him he fixed all the problems except perhaps one. The remaining problem that could have been fixed more completely was the protection of the floor and the cleanup of the site. Even though I complained about this and he and his helper came back to take care of it, it was ultimately left to me to complete a proper cleaning and removal of fingerprints from the walls and pillars. Even now we are left with a tiled floor that has scratches all over it.
When the initial contract was presented to us by one of the senior company staff, he told us that he would personally keep an eye on how the work was progressing and make sure the cleanup was done properly. Well, I never ever saw him or any other "senior staff" keeping an eye on anything. A big positive in going with Boston Standard is that they were able to offer more technically advanced replacement equipment than any of their competitors, and ultimately that is most important.

Excellent sales and review of equipment, diligence in providing insight into selection and available for any and all follow up questions. Install team were polite and efficient in efforts to get system up and functioning in a timely manner. Looking forward to a follow up response in regard to Boston Standard in ensuring my complete satisfaction. Looking forward to doing further business in the future.
Requested inspection of a gas dryer due to intermittent gas smell, conclusion determine need for replace and upgrade of gas line, shut off valve and proper connection between dryer and line. Further request of mine was proper venting of dryer. Scheduled and  spoke with Tech upon arrival, excellent communication between customer and Tech, I am completely pleased with response and work. My first priority has and will be safety for my family and home. Boston Standard meets this and delivers in a prompt and professional manner.

Just got my heating system switched from oil to gas. I'm thrilled with the service. Professional staff, respectful and caring. I enjoyed working with Ryan who initially quoted the work, Alex who scheduled the worked and Ben and his team for installation . They worked overtime to make sure they finish on time as we agreed. Thank you!

By far and away the best plumbing experiences I've ever had!  In no particular order: First of all they are courteous and professional and responsive and kind.  Secondly, their quotes for plumbing work consistently come in below other plumbers.  Third, their work is exceptional!  Fourth, they bring you coffee?!?!  These guys are THE BEST!
